Nea Odos, informs the drivers that according to “Extreme weather conditions” announcement by the Hellenic National Meteorological service, a significant change in the weather conditions is expected from Saturday 16/01/2016 to Monday 18/01/2016. The main characteristics of this change will be local snowfalls in various areas of Greece, significant drop in temperature and strengthened winds. Nea Odos, has taken all necessary measures for the management of the abovementioned phenomena, aiming as always at providing the highest possible road safety levels. Nevertheless, in the road safety equation the role of the driver is starring. We remind you that, each vehicle must obtain snow chains, and when driving in extreme weather conditions you have to be calm and alerted. If you need to use snow chains, please remember that: The chains are placed on the drive wheels. Your speed should not exceed 30 km/h. The chains have been properly placed when they look and are stretched.   When driving on snowy road: Turn on the car’s fog lamps to ensure good visibility and to allow others see you. Reduce speed and significantly increase the distance that you usually maintain from vehicles in front of you. Do not apply the brakes suddenly, do not accelerate suddenly and do not turn suddenly. You should be making slow and gentle manoeuvres. If you need to slow down, try doing so gradually by changing down through the gears (from 4th to 3rd to 2nd etc.). Do not attempt to overtake in icy or snowy roads, unless the front car is completely immobilized.   Finally, we remind you that driving and stopping on the Emergency Lane is dangerous for you and your vehicle. NEA ODOS S.A. announces that, on Friday, January 1st, 2016 at 00:01, the tolls annual indexation will be conducted. The new reduced fees are displayed in detail per toll station and vehicle category in the following tables. As for categories 1 and 2, (motorcycles & cars), reductions shall range from €0.05 to €0.10 and for categories 3 and 4, (trucks & buses), from €0.05 to €0.20. Current toll fees are also mentioned for your convenience, with the new reduced Toll Fees highlighted in red in the 'Toll Fees 2016' table column. Short-term traffic arrangements will take place on the PATHE motorway, at Bogiati I/C, from July 29 to July 31, 2013, to carry out construction and foundation works of Electronic Variable Message Signs (VMS) base. In particular, on Monday, July 29, 2013 from 07.30 a.m. to 12.00 p.m. there will be a road traffic closure in the left-hand traffic lane for both directions and, from 12.00 p.m. to 17.00 p.m., the Emergency Lane (L.E.A), direction to Lamia, will be closed as well. Finally, on Wednesday, July 31, 2013, from 09.30 a.m. to 14.00 p.m., there will be a road traffic closure in the left-hand traffic lane for both directions and, from 14.00 p.m. to 19.00 p.m., the Emergency Lane (L.E.A), direction to Lamia, will be closed as well. Traffic arrangements will take place on the PATHE motorway, in the traffic exit to Lamia, at Likovrissi I/C (Pyrna), to carry out sewage pipeline construction works. In particular, from Saturday, July 20, 2013 until Monday, July 29, 2013 there will be a 24-hour temporary and partial traffic closure on a maximum road width of three (3) meters, from the right-hand traffic exit from Athens to Lamia, at Likovrissi I/C (Pyrna), at the 12.6 km, to carry out sewage pipeline construction works. During this period, the traffic shall drive on the remaining part of the road and the maximum speed limit shall be forty (40) km/h for the area of the works. Nea Odos has taken all the necessary security measures for the safety of the drivers while relevant temporarily signs will be installed in the area to provide fully information regarding the diversion. Traffic arrangements will take place on the PATHE motorway, from km 59,35 to km 59,65, direction to Lamia, aiming to perform restoration works of the damaged pavement. More specifically, from Tuesday, July 22 to Wednesday, July 23, 2014, the traffic will drive on the right-hand traffic lane and, from Wednesday, July 23 to Thursday, July 24, 2014, the traffic will drive on the left-hand and middle traffic lane. Nea Odos has taken all the necessary security measures for the safety of the drivers while relevant temporarily signs will be installed in the area to provide fully information regarding the diversion. Traffic arrangements will take place on A.TH.E motorway and specifically in the region of Metamorfossi Attikis, in order to proceed with road surface maintenance works. Specifically, from Monday 24 July up until Wednesday 26 July, between 22:00 p.m. and 06:00 a.m. next day, and from the 17th up to the 15th km, traffic flow in the direction to Athens, middle and right lanes will be partially and simultaneously closed. During the above period, traffic flow will be channelled to the left lane. In the meantime, the middle and right lane will be consequently released, in order for the vehicles to move freely in the direction to Attiki Odos. At the same time, both (entry and exit) branches of Tatoi I/C, direction to Athens, will be closed. Drivers, moving along the main road axis, will be warned in good time by following the respective signs, in order to exit from the previous junction (Pyrna I/C) and, through the lateral road network and by following the respective signs, will re-enter the road at Tatoi I/C. Nea Odos has taken all necessary measures for the safety of the drivers, while relevant temporary signs will be installed in the area to provide full information. Traffic arrangements will take place on Ionia Odos Motorway, specifically between Antirrio and Messologgi I/Cs, in order to proceed with electromechanical equipment maintenance works in Kalydona tunnel. Specifically, from Monday 17 July up until Tuesday 18 July, between 21:00 p.m. and 07:00 a.m. next day, and from Tuesday 18 July up until Wednesday 19 July, between 21:00 p.m. and 07:00 a.m. next day, vehicle traffic will be fully interrupted at the aforementioned section, in both traffic flows. During the above period, vehicles direction toward Ioannina will be channelled to Antirrio Intersection (I/C) and, through the Old National Road (Old N.R.) and by following the respective signs, will re-enter the Ionia Odos motorway through Messologgi I/C. Respectively, vehicles direction toward Antirrio will be channelled to Messologgi I/C and, through the Old National Road (Old N.R.) and by following the respective signs, will re-enter the Ionia Odos motorway through Antirrio I/C. Traffic arrangements will take place on Tuesday, May 23, 2017, at the 116km of A.TH.E. motorway, aiming to perform old sign gantry removal works. Specifically, from 07:00am to 17:00pm, from Martino I/C to Kastro I/C, motorway traffic toward Athens, as well as the left traffic lane direction to Lamia, will be fully interrupted. During this period, drivers who move towards Lamia, will exit the motorway at Martino I/C and, following the respective traffic signs, will re-enter the motorway at Kastro I/C. Motorway traffic toward Lamia will not be interrupted, since the right traffic lane – during this time – will flow normally. Traffic arrangements will take place on Monday, May 22, 2017 on Ionia Odos and specifically at the 79,5km (Agrinio bypass), aiming to perform electronic Variable Message Signs (VMS) installation works. Specifically, from 08:00am to 20:00pm, from Agrinio South I/C (Chaliki) to Agrinio North I/C (Kouvaras), motorway traffic toward Ioannina as well as the left-carriage way toward Antirrio, will be fully interrupted. During this period, drivers who move toward Ioannina, will exit the motorway at Agrinio South I/C (Chaliki) and, following the temporary traffic signs, will re-enter the motorway through the Old National Road of Agrinio North I/C (Kouvaras). Traffic flow toward Antirrio will not be affected, since right-carriage way, during that period, will flow normally. Traffic arrangements will take place on PATHE Motorway and specifically at the area of Yliki Lake, to perform construction works for Yliki – Kastro section.   Specifically, from Wednesday, May 3 to Monday, July 10, in the lane toward Lamia, right after the Frontal Toll Station of Thiva and in particular from the 93,1km to the 95,4km, traffic will drive on one lane (instead of two). Thereafter, at the 95,4km, traffic will be channelled to the right-side lateral road – vehicles will flow on one lane – up to the 96,9km,where the users will re-enter the motorway.   Finally, from Tuesday, May 10 to Monday, June 26, in the lane toward Athens, at the 97,1km, traffic will be channelled to the left-side lateral road – vehicles will flow on one traffic lane – up to the 95,7km,where the users will re-enter the motorway.   Nea Odos has taken all necessary security measures for the safety of the drivers, while relevant temporary signs will be installed in the area to provide full information.   Nea Odos wants to thank the drivers for their understanding and also invites them to show extreme caution and to strictly follow the relevant signs.

Traffic arrangements will take place on PATHE Motorway, at Loggos, Prefecture of Fthiotida, to perform bridge elastomeric joint maintenance works. In particular, from Monday, November 14 to Thursday, November 17, at 165 km, the right-hand traffic lane as well as the emergency lane, direction to Lamia, will be closed. During the above period, the left-hand traffic lane will flow normally.
