Green Awards – Best Green Project
Nea Odos stood out as the “greenest motorway in the country”, in the context of the 2022 Green Awards. The Green Award that was awarded this year again to our company, is included in the category “Best Green Project”, for the initiatives it took in the field of recycling, e-mobility and solar energy.
Health & Safety Awards – Gold Award
Nea Odos was nominated as the ‘Winner’ for the business Continuity Management System which is applied in all operational activities of the company, with its main objective being to ensure that the Business Continuity Management System is implemented throughout the activities of the company, mainly aiming to ensure the uninterrupted provision of services to our motorways during unforeseen circumstances (disasters due to fire, extreme weather phenomena, Covid-19 cases, etc.). This System is certified in accordance with the ISO 22301:2012 international standard and Nea Odos is the first concessions company to receive this certification, proving with actions that it is a pioneer in the critically important sector of crisis management and response.
Hellenic Responsible Business Awards – Bronze Awards
Nea Odos, in the framework of the Hellenic Responsible Business Awards 2022, was the only winner with a Bronze Award in the ‘Responsible Climate Action’ category for the innovative initiatives it is implementing in view of the environmental targets of Sustainable Development, as they have been shaped internationally.
These are a series of actions to reduce greenhouse gas emissions to the greatest degree possible, a commitment that we have served systematically since 2016. These actions are an integral part of Nea Odos’ Go Green strategic axis.
