Hellenic Responsible Business Awards – Bronze Award
Nea Odos received the Bronze Award in the ‘Local/Regional Range Long-term Investment’ category, for its ‘Cycling Safely’ action, which it is implementing in partnership with the ‘Panos Mylonas’ Road Safety Institute (I.O.A.S.). ‘Cycling Safely’, which has been implemented since 2014, contributes to instilling a sound driving culture and behaviour in children, and aims at helping them develop responsible driving behaviour. It has been approved by the Ministry of Education and the Institute of Educational Policy, and it is being implemented in partnership with the competent Directorates of Primary Education.
Hellenic Responsible Business Awards – Silver Award
Nea Odos received the Silver Award in the ‘Local/Regional Range Short-term Investment’ category, which was the only award in the category. This recognition concerns the training action for 265 police officers of all ranks from the regions of Acarnania, Aetolia, Arta, Preveza, Ioannina, Euboea, Boeotia, and Phocis, on recognising and handling incidents of child abuse. The action is being implemented in partnership with the ELIZA society for the prevention of cruelty to children, in the framework of the national initiative it is implementing in partnership with the Hellenic Police.
