Nea Odos has developed and is implementing an Integrated Management System (IMS) that came about from the unification of the Quality, Environment, Health & Safety systems, as well as the other Management Systems it implements. The goal of the IMS is the more effective operation of Management Systems through the eradication of overlapping procedures and controls.
The IMS sets objective and quantifiable goals that are achieved through the implementation of specific processes during the execution and operation of the project.
Faithfully implementing and continuously improving the system is the responsibility of all the stakeholders, and it is ensured through the regular implementation of actions, such as internal audits, improvement and corrective actions, and administrative reviews, while it is implemented throughout all company activities and operations.
The obligation to observe the IMS at all stages of the project is mentioned explicitly and clearly in the Concession Agreement and the relevant documents thereof, while it is contractually carried over to the Independent Engineer, the Manufacturer, the Operator, and any Subcontractor involved in the project
